Topeak Alien III 25pcs pocket tool kits .. that

proberly any biker need while cycling on road,

trails or freeride … i cannot think of any that can

beat this sucker …

something kewl i found on this piece-o-tools is that
it has a safety pitch for unfolding all the tools, minus
the penknife … the penknife will not be unfold, unless
u unfold the whool bunch of tools then only the penknife
pops up… this is really a bonus safety feature so that
when u work on it, you will not accidentally pops out
the penknife and mind you, the sharpness can be on par
as sharp as a Leatherman …

Only Alien III series the tools is made from Cro-Moly
thus makes this tools kinda indestructable and it is also
why i bought it, even with the hefty price. Simply worth
every penny …

Quality, simply 10/10, each tools is carefully print and stamped
with the Size # and with the split design, i can have a better grip/hold
simply the best portable/pocket tools i’ve even seen.

I have toyed with world best pocket tool (SNCM+V) for machinery over my
16 years of machine repairing and building, these tool is on par
or i can say .. abit overkill for building a bicycle !

MTB – Short road trip Johor – Seremban – Malacca – Muar

I got bitten by the cycling bug .. here is the bite mark …

Was in Negeri Sembilan for a 2 days meeting .. i took my bike along
so when i have the time .. i cycle … i clocked 68KM over the 2D/1N
trip.. not bad .. considering Seremban is a blardy HILLY town …
of cos i nearly fainted in some of the route, eg, Taman Tasik and
Taman Sikamat Utama … blardy 30degree uphill … farks !!!!

Anyway i manage to survive this trip … this hotel that i put up..it’s
Royale Bintang …. comfy place to stay .. near town and in the middle
of a beautiful lake and green surrounding … the Dim Sum i had….
was really a 5 star taste ..  i’ll be back … this time around.. i’m
planning to ride from town to Paroi … (waterfall) but i might need
a cycling partner .. who knows i had a concussion and died in the
middle of the journey … hahahahahhaha

time … it’s around 4:20am…  the story goes like this …
was in Muar to celebrate my good old classmate bachelor’s nite out..
today was the eve of the celebration … i took my bike to a nearby
stall to meetup with my Kampung Friends in Jalan Ismail …so after
the teh tarik session .. i cycle from Jalan Ismail back to Jalan
Bakariah using the back road .. about 8KM .. then i was thinking..
what the heck .. it’s 10PM++ why not cycle to Muar town …

So i did … cycling is damn addictive because u just want to cycle
further and further knowing that u know from Bakariah to Town
was like 8KM away … no sweat .. and by that time 10++PM…
Muar town is virtually a DEAD town and there isn’t much Traffic..
so i ended up in Muar and my Bachelor friend called… he is on the
way back to Muar from KL .. so i called up the GANG .. to meetup
in Muar Tanjung … so .. since i’m on a bicycle .. the GANG need
to go to 7-Eleven to buy Cigarettes and BEER to celebrate the
coming home of the Bachelor boy….

So i end up cycling from Muar town to Tanjong … then we had our
Beer and Smoking and catchups for tomorrow’s Party …

I dunno why my bike become the centre of all the picture we had
that nite … and here’s a shot of me cycling on a ROCK GARDEN ..

i know the photo quality sucks .. because my friend.. that bachelor
was already drunk .. so all the settings on his DSLR becomes
pussies and nipples …. wakakakkakakaka

MTB – Riding down Pedestrian Bridge

Ok … here’s my recent obsession … whenever i see one …
i have the urge to ride down with my bike … i dunno why…

MTB – Mountain Bike trilogy …

Been busy recently with my new hobby = cycling, thus the absent
from this blog ….

The away is basically due to my 15days M/C injury on my left knee
cap … notice the water bag on my left knee cap … basket ..
yah .. i’m on a blardy wheelchair.. but not for long ……

all these because of my 18feet fall from a bloody pedestrain staircase … metal staircase to be precise … my miscalculation
due to wet weather my tyres slip when i apply rear brakes
because the staircase is wet … so rear bike swayed and i lost
control and kabooom … my knee landed on the edges of the
metal staircase …

no big deal … Docs says nothing broken .. just the impact
that cause the natural water bag to foam to protect the ligaments,
tendons, soft bone and nerves …

here’s the place where the accident happen …. and i can bet
my two balls to anyone out there to take this challenge …
riding ur bike down from this pedestrian bridge … he he he
we’ll…  this is not my 1st time doing this .. i can say extreme
sport .. but with my age catching up … I REALLY NEED TO DO
MORE OF THIS SHIT !!! … hahahahahahhaha

these are cable management clip … if u use cable tie .. ur sooo cheappp !!!!

SUNTOUR started their 1st product in Japan .. seal bearing HUBs … so that you don’t loose any ball bearing when you do a 4 feet jump …

Fusion fork cro-moly 4130 .. i break a few of these … because of my miscalculation i ended landing nose dive …. that time …we land on flat ground … not connecting ramp … aren’t we good … hahahahhahaha

Asahi spokes … u never will break them .. u just bend them back …

4feet or 12 feet landing .. these seat post make sure u had a great rebound KUWAHARA laser post … cro-moly 4130 construction .. never seen any broken or bend .. what i saw .. the frame gave way … it’s titanium those days …

note : cromoly and cro-moly 4130 is 2 different material .. cro-moly 4130 is the real DEAL

the kings of all kings .. and we step on em .. Shimano DX Pedal … shoes or slippers … it hold u when u do ur flipping or 360 or even summersault … bad part is .. ur leg shins has many bloody holes …because it comes with 9 studs … if u seen any kids with bloody shins .. u know who makes them …

this bike has gone through the test of time … flying down from as high as 14feet about 2nd to 3rd floor of a shop house and flying up a 4feet ramp, clocking near 12feet high … and many street racing (countless illegal racing) and illegal dirt track … jump over 8 feet monsoon drain … doing 360 flip on air and 10km wheelie from my kampung to muar town and been thru.. done that …quarter pipe and half pipe .. the owner .. that’s me .. suffered many internal bone breaking injury and external scar marks .. but still alive and kicking and still blogging at 6:12am 25th April 2010 .. WTF hahahahhaha

pure classic … would only trade in for *BEER FOR LIFE*  else .. no deal ..

Giant Iguana my new MTB (Mountain Bike)

got this 1 week ago lah … from WORLD No. 1 bike maker GIANT …

of cos there are like 50 other brands .. but hey .. i come from BMX era .. i think i start to ride at the age of 5 because at the age of 7 i ride to school … till age 16 … and continue to ride after college age 20 till today

so i’ve riden alot hahahahahha from BMX, Haro, Tange, Dyno, GT, Mongoose, Kuwahara to Racing bike, Look, Cinelli, Schwinn and Campagnolo

FSA KForce DH carbon fibre handle bar and Kore steam, XT shifter, total saving of 450g compare to stock, the Deore Brake lever is stock i see no reason to change because this hydraulic unit has adjustable travel and 1 finger light braking is already a God-Send to me …

XT Rear Derailleur and XT Cassette, i’m comparing to Deore stock .. hell i save 330g here … 

There are world cheapest AIR suspension with 130mm travel and comes with rebound and lock-out adjustment .. and it weight less then 1.5kg .. unbelievable !!! with this weight it really kick Rock Shock, Manitau and Fox asses big time .. just that many ppl do not know Suntour, in my BMX era .. SUNTOUR = GOD, the are best at seal bearing hubs … ppl steal this for personal use .. and not to sell…

 

bringing this Epicon to Austin to test the downhill tomorrow .. of cos .. i’ll be going slower then usual and next week to Sri Alam dirt trek … if this ain’t break .. i’ll get another one for spare … weight loss of 450g from stock XRC below are XRC used for 1 hour … too low for me and it hurt my back, hands and neck …

Anyway .. for new or old or current biker out there .. don’t ride without a a HELMET … and ride responsibly on the road because in where we life … no motorbike, car, van, MPV, bus or lorry will give a fuck for cyclist … unlike in Singapore, the government stress that pedestrian is a PRIORITY on the road.

Note: not saying that other brands are not in par with GIANT .. just that from my personal point of view… to start with a GIANT is a foolproof beginners choice ..  by dream MTB are FD Free Ride style because it mimic my BMX era and stunts … Corsair full sus frame with FOX 40 and Crank Brothers Rims, DaBom Hubs … these will cost me 15K RM already … just got my quote … total dream bike will cost easily RM25K hahahahhaha anyone wants to loan me the moonies .. i’ll do double summersault on a 12feet jump … just for u …hahahahahha

Was using my Cateye 10 years old Krypton lighting … seems that road

are darker now, some places brighter and 1 thing for sure .. HEAVY TRAFFIC

So to see where i’m going and to Grab Vehicle attention that I’M here …

Got this G2LED from a fishing acc shop down in Permas Jaya for a good deal ..
